Our Purpose
The Scribe celebrates all that is positive
about Sark. It is a non-partisan publication but welcomes comments and
opinions as long as they are not directed against any individuals or
groups of people. Input is invited from residents and visitors alike.
The mission statement from the front page of our
very first edition is shown here
The Journal
Sark Scribe is published on the first of
each month and is available from several outlets in Sark or by monthly
postal subscription. It is produced in an A5 format and printed in
full colour.
We aim to keep the price as low as
possible and encourage all who love Sark to take up a subscription.
The Website
On this site we offer details of how to
subscribe, information for prospective advertisers, lists of what's on
in Sark and where to dine, how to contact us and useful Sark info. The
full magazine content will not, however, be included on the website.
There is a
gallery of selected photos from previous issues - to give internet
readers an indication of the many interesting things that happen here.
The gallery will grow with new photos being added from time to time.
Readers' comments are always welcomed -
